Parents, Families, and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG) is a national non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the health and well-being of gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender (GLBT) persons through support, education and advocacy.
PFLAG’s Winston-Salem chapter serves Forsyth and the surrounding North Carolina counties.PFLAG Winston-Salem serves the GLBT community and their families and friends through various offerings and activities, including a monthly chapter meeting, social events, special-interest programs, educational workshops and awards banquets to recognize those who have promoted acceptance in our community.
We meet on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at Highland Presbyterian Church, 2381 Cloverdale Avenue, in Winston-Salem. Our meetings are held in room AB4 in the Activities Building. Children younger than 18 years old must be accompanied to meetings by a parent or guardian.
